The Art of Welcoming 2026: Reel Stories of Belonging

Estrella del Paso cordially invites you to the 3rd Annual Art of Welcoming: Reel Stories of Belonging, a community celebration as part of Welcoming Week 2026.
This annual event highlights communities that strive to be more inclusive and inviting to all. This year’s theme, “Stories We Share: The Courage to Connect” encourages us to reflect on and express the stories, images, and experiences that build connections and strengthen our community.
Estrella del Paso will be screening a special documentary to celebrate its 40th anniversary, alongside a community film exhibition featuring short films submitted by local filmmakers. The films exhibit El Paso’s welcoming spirit.
The event also features a student art exhibit showcasing original artwork inspired by themes of welcoming and belonging, and will be displayed at Mystic Desert Art Studio.
A special exhibit of artwork created by Unaccompanied Children who were/are clients of Estrella del Paso.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. / Event Program begins at 5:30 p.m.
