Melissa M. Lopez

As Executive Director, Melissa’s role is to ensure Estrella del Paso has the resources, both human capital and finances, to continue operating and providing critical free and low-cost legal resources to the ever-expanding migrant population in the El Paso border region. As she began her career at Estrella del Paso, Melissa learned that her father had once been a client of the nonprofit. She believes it is providential that the organization that supported her father and created opportunities for his family was where she has been able to give back and start a career in nonprofit work.
