Mayra Perez-Veloz

As Director of Operations, Mayra’s role includes overseeing office logistics including building maintenance, office supplies and equipment, inventory, software training, and maintaining vendor relationships. Mayra is also the supervisor for the front office administrative staff. Mayra joined Estrella del Paso in 2018 as a legal assistant in the removal defense unit. In 2020 she was promoted to Office Manager then Director of Operations.

Mayra initially followed her passion for medicine and pursued a nursing degree. As the daughter of immigrant parents, Mayra felt a deep appreciation for the work at Estrella del Paso and discovered a new career path. Mayra is committed to improving services at Estrella del Paso for the benefit of employees, clients, and the community.
